Tue, 28 April 2009 This is the last episode of Telesmeg - this feed will go away in a few days. In case I ever get round to doing anything in the future, you might want to follow me on Twitter (@Buxton), come say hi in Second Life (where I'm Buxton Malaprop), or email matt.fowler@gmail.com For something else - and good - to listen to, go check out Digital Cowboys. Sun, 24 February 2008 This is very quick and boring show, just to announce that our Freephone voicemail line is now discontinued - but we do have a regular London landline number just in case you do feel the need to do voicemail. The new number is 020 7043 7438. Comments[0] |
Thu, 3 January 2008 In a total change from what I've done before, this episode is a new format idea for Telesmeg - a "twilight session" show, specifically designed for falling-asleep-listening. Apart from the introduction, the show is totally uninterrupted chilled-out music, with no loud bits or distractions. Some of our music picks came from the Podsafe Music Network at music.podshow.com, others are available to us under a Creative Commons license. Track list: Comments[0] |
Fri, 14 September 2007 After a major lull, I suddenly decide I've got some stuff to say. Some stuff is mean-spirited shit-disturbing, some is utter nonsense. We drift away on a tangent a couple of times and never get round to recovering, but the original points were never all that important in the first place. Here's the video of me smashing my old bike helmet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7Bj0XR3U-8 Comments[0] |
Tue, 31 July 2007 OK, so I failed in my promise of episode #9 to get this out before the end of July. It's now a few minutes in to August, and I blame my PC for being so slow at encoding video. This episode is video, it should be 100% fine for iPod / Quicktime. I probably won't do video again unless there's a really specific reason for it, because it's much harder to fake being interesting. I can't really get my "cheesy radio voice" on while also worrying about looking at the camera and staying in shot. |
Sun, 22 July 2007 It's been bloody ages, but I've finally managed to do a new show. The format's going to change, now that the "old format" has been co-opted and improved upon by my other podcast - Joinee Radio. Links for this show: |
Wed, 28 March 2007 With Dan WH back again (by phone this time, due to Skype not loving
us), we trawl through the usual sort of silly news stories and make
dumb comments as we go. (The show has now been re-uploaded and re-published with the missing song added - whoops!) Mon, 19 March 2007 Douglas is back for another show, and we give Geordie - a new Canadian smegger - a trial run. More typical news-mocking nonsense. Sun, 25 February 2007 With the able assistance of Dan and Douglas, we blunder through another show - covering a whole range of nonsense including clown violence and chastity belts. Sat, 17 February 2007 With the able assistance of repeat-smeggers James and Douglas, and new smegger Dave, we poke fun at and make silly comments towards a bunch of news stories. (A very large amount of what we say in this episode is our personal opinions. For proper journalist-researched facts, please see the links below.)
